A symbol of the summer in Wakayama
“Dancing and the Kishu Good festival”
I am rooting for you.

“I want to cheer up Wakayama through the festival!” It started from the thought of our representative Nishihira Noriko and a few committee members, and it became the festival which represented the Wakayama city near the total of 300,000 people including the number of spectators in the period of the festival from the first time in 2004.
At the time of commissioning, the people were reported dark news every day in the world, not an exception in Wakayama city, there is a sad case that became a topic nationwide, there is a corruption scandal, and our representative Nishihira Noriko, while there are young people who still bear a lot of next generation, I felt that their nowhere was too much in Wakayama city.
So I have been thinking in myself for many years, “I want to cheer up Wakayama through the festival!” “Wakayama After five years is always changing, aiming at realizing the desire. The Committee was established in the slogan.
The dancers, the people concerned, and the people who are involved in the festival are usually people of various environments. The result of the practice cultivated for the day only once a year, the dancer’s smile to produce the utmost to the desire, the viewer also get energetic with the smile. It is the best smile of the team who dances while taking a spotlight in front of the main local car with the choreography and the costume and dance your. From children to the elderly, the festival, where everyone can enjoy dancing and watching people, just “cheer up Wakayama through the festival!” That is Kishu good festival.

Japan Foundation “Job Parent Project”
-Independent rehabilitation support activities of the source
We are involved in

Supporting one by all

The Japan Foundation’s parent project will support the smooth rehabilitation of the Juvenile Academy and the prison source, as well as the realization of a decline in the conviction rate, which has been on the rise since 1997, and is a private initiative launched by the Japan Foundation and seven Kansai companies in 2013. We conduct recruitment activities in juvenile centers and prisons, providing companies with workplaces, cooperating with social resources, including rehabilitation facilities, and working together to support one person.
Once a person commits a crime, even if he wants to renew his feelings and return to society so that he does not sin, it is the Japan that is not fulfilled due to the harsh eyes and repulsion of society.
It leads to a vicious cycle in which prison sources and juvenile clinics repeatedly commit crimes.
Shinano Road Co., Ltd. is helping the first step of the rehabilitation and recovery of the prison source and the Juvenile Academy. The restaurant industry is relatively easy to work even for inexperienced people. It is very important to have a job in order to live. First of all, when the base of life is able to be done by the store in Shinano Road, and the target is able to be done by my will, I will support it. There are those who wish to work in the Shinano Road as it is. However, there is a case to say goodbye to those who want to get a new job and want to return to a family that is’ve apart away. We say this is “graduation.” That’s fine. I just want to help you with the first step.
While the number of Japan has continued to decline from 389,027 in 2004, the rate of conviction (of one year of arrests, the second or more offenders) continued to rise without falling from 27.7% in 1996 to 30.3% in 2016, while committing a crime It is a calculation that one in about two people is conviction.
In addition, 70% of the conviction are unemployed, and the number of unemployed workers is about three times as many as conviction.
